The pastry chef that runs our small family operation is Janina Turziak.
She has been baking cakes, pastries and making wedding cakes for over 20 years.
Janina trained as a pastry chef in Poland and spent 15 years creating classical pastries and decadent cakes at a French bakery in Baltimore.
She’s really in to creating custom cakes! Visit her at the bakery to talk about mousse, ganache, cream puffs, mousseline buttercream icing and more. (And trust us … it’s all very good!).
Meet Janina
“Janina Turziak learned to bake at a four-year culinary school in southern Poland. In 1988, amid social unrest and food shortages, Turziak and her family immigrated to the United States. She worked at a variety of jobs, including Patisserie Poupon in Baltimore.”

All of our cakes, bakery and cafe items are baked from scratch using only the purest and freshest of ingredients.
We bake daily and offer a rotating stock of bakery items including cookies, danish, croissants, fruit tarts and individual desserts. Visit the cafe for coffee, espresso drinks, fine teas, breakfast and lunch.
